The Community Planning and Development Department is responsible for:

Enforcing codes for building, zoning, and property maintenance
Evaluating proposed land developments
Implementing and administering the Unified Development Code.
Inspecting construction activities
Preparing and maintaining the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Map, and the Future Land Use Map.
