The City of Belton is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to purchase and install holiday lights along businesses and City buildings on Main Street in Downtown Belton, Mo. by Nov. 23, 2024, and to remove and securely store the lights and other supporting materials by Feb. 1, 2025.
Initial scope of the project includes outlining the buildings included in Appendix A (Page 26). We would anticipate this contract being for three years with two additional one-year extensions, based on budgetary allocations.
The specific locations of the work to be done shall be contained in the special provisions section of the bid document. The Contractor shall bid on all work.
All equipment, materials, and workmanship must be in accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at 9 am, local time, and Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 at 9 am, local time, at Belton City Hall Annex in the Council Chambers.
Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications and scope of work requirements, bids will only be accepted from those who are represented at one of the Pre-Bid Meetings. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting will be evidenced by the representative’s signature on the attendance roster.
