Employee Liquor Cards

The Belton Police Department issues employee liquor cards to those employed at Belton businesses with a by-the-drink state and city liquor license. 

Who needs an employee liquor card? Is it required?

All employees of a Belton business who are participating or aiding in the sale, dispensation, service or delivery of intoxicating liquor by-the-drink are required to have an employee liquor card from the Belton Police Department. This is found in Chapter 3, Article III of the Code of Ordinances.

How do I get an employee liquor card?

Employee liquor cards are available exclusively through the Belton Police Department, 7001 E 163rd St, Belton, MO 64012. They are open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm (excluding holidays). Call ahead for an appointment to ensure someone is available to issue the card. Bring a valid photo id.

What is the cost for an employee liquor card? How long is it valid?

Employee liquor cards are $10/each (cash or check). They are valid for 2 years.
