City Offices Closed - Weather Emergency Declared

Belton city hall, city offices, parks, and municipal court are closed today. The city manager, in consultation with the mayor, has declared a weather emergency for the city for Thursday, December 22, 2022. (Code of Ordinances, Section 13-739)

In addition to keeping emergency snow routes clear, we are asking non-essential personnel to stay home throughout the city. We are also asking all Belton citizens and businesses to honor this declaration as the streets have become unsafe to navigate and we want people to stay safe and refrain from adding to the workload of already stretched first responders in the area.
