Expansion to Belton’s ADA-Accessible Transit Program Launches in May

Wendy Schick, OATS Transit driver, assists passenger Nancy Bell who starting May 5 can use the service four times a month to nearly any destination in the city and, one day a month, to locations in Raymore, Grandview and Harrisonville.

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021 the city of Belton will launch a greatly expanded OATS Transit program for its seniors and individuals with disabilities as the service grows to weekly rather than monthly service with destinations to nearly any location within the city rather than only to shopping outlets.
