Meet Aaron Smullin: Communications and Marketing Specialist
Published on February 11, 2025
In his new role, Aaron will help tell the story of the City and all the great things that are happening here.
“Belton has such a great story to tell, and Aaron has the perfect mix of experience to help us shine a spotlight on the people and projects in our community,” Assistant City Manager Mike Ekey said.
Aaron spent several years working in public service doing communications and public information, including public health and law enforcement. He enjoys public service and helping others. Outside of work, Aaron and his wife keep busy with pets, trying new restaurants and traveling.
His favorite project? Working on an integrated campaign using web, social, advertising and media relations and involving multiple staff members to help increase enrollment in a program.
If Aaron could have any superpower, it would be flight. He loves to travel and having the ability to fly would make that much easier.
If you see Aaron, make sure to give him a big Belton welcome as he works to share all the great things happening around the area.
