Hargis Lake Combination Project Road Closures

Westover Road between Shawn Drive and Airway Lane will be closed Saturday, January 14 - Monday, January 16 as crews install storm drains as a part of the ongoing Hargis Lake Combination Project for Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, and Water Line Relocation. It is anticipated to reopen on the morning of Tuesday, January 17. Please follow all detour and road closure signs while traveling in the area. Thank you for your patience as we continue working hard to improve Belton's infrastructure.

-Starting Tuesday, January 3, 2023, Westover Road will be closed from Airway Lane through Mark Lane.
-Hillcrest Road will be closed from Airway Lane through Hargis Lane.
Detours will be available along North Cleveland Avenue and North Park Drive.
Kissick Construction will be installing storm sewer in the area. Please follow all detour and road closure signs while traveling in the area. Thank you for your patience as we continue working hard to improve Belton's infrastructure.
October 19, 2022 - Westover Road will be closed at 58 Highway and from Concord Avenue to Sunset Lane from Wednesday, October 19 - Wednesday, October 26 (tentatively). Detours are available along N Cleveland Avenue as shown in the attached map.
September 7, 2022 - Westover Road northbound will be closed today (September 7) from Sunset Lane to Hargis Lane while Kissick Construction does work in the area.
August 3, 2022 - Westover Road will be closed from Shawn Drive to Airway Lane starting Thursday, August 4, and is anticipated to reopen on Friday, August 5. *Work is weather permitting and subject to change.
July 6, 2022 - Westover Road northbound will be closed today from 58 Highway to Sunset Lane Detours are available along Hillcrest Road and N Cleveland Avenue.
May 19, 2022 - Sunset Lane and Hillcrest Road will be closed beginning tomorrow May 19th, at 7 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to Hargis Lane to Westover Road to North Avenue.
May 15, 2022 - The south bound lane of Westover Road will be closed from Shawn Drive to Mark Lane beginning tomorrow, May 16th, at 7 a.m. Traffic will be detoured at Shawn Drive to Markey Road then to Belton Avenue and back to Westover Road via Hargis Lane. Please follow all detour and road closure signs while traveling in the area.
April 28, 2022 - The south bound lane of Westover Road will be closed from Sunset Lane to Airway Lane beginning this morning, April 28th. Traffic will be detoured at Kenneth Lane to Cleveland Avenue then to Sunset Lane. Please follow all detour and road closure signs while traveling in the area.
Saturday, April 23, 2022 - Westover Road will be closed in front of Gladden Elementary School from Airway Lane to Shawn Drive on Saturday April 23rd, 2022, beginning at 7 a.m. The closure of Westover Road in front of Gladden Elementary will not extend past Saturday, April 23rd. Traffic will be detoured to Cimmarron Trail toward Markey Road, back south on Belton Avenue then west on Airway Lane.
April 20, 2022 - The southbound lane of Westover Road will be closed from Hargis Lane to 58 Highway/W North Avenue beginning Wednesday, April 20th. Traffic will be detoured to Hargis Lane to the west and then south on Cleveland Avenue back to 58 Highway.
March 30, 2022 - The north bound lane of Westover Road will be closed at Sunset Lane to Airway Lane beginning today, March 30th. Traffic will be detoured to Stacey Drive to Kenneth Lane and back to Westover Road.
