Starting a New Business in Belton

Starting Monday, October 28, 2024, all business and liquor licenses will be submitted through the City of Belton's Community Development online portal eTRAKiT.

This new site will allow users to submit applications, pay fees, and track internal reviews through their online dashboard. This new system will help streamline the license submission, review, and approval process and offer an improved and expanded online payment system.

Businesses physically located in Belton require fire, building, and backflow inspections. Depending on the type of business, additional information may also be required.

The Community Planning & Building Department can help with zoning, regulations, inspections, and permits.
